Job Title:
Senior Technical Writer
Company Name:
S1 Enterprise
About Me:
Hi! I've been a technical writer for about 14 years, writing for several different companies and freelancing some as well. My experience has primarily been with software documentation, and my current employer, S1 Enterprise, is a provider of software to the financial services industry. We are in the midst of a major transformation, migrating from a FrameMaker/WebWorks model to a full-fledged content management strategy using AuthorIt. Exciting times for a tech writer!

Hey Julie! I do agree. Thanks for inviting me to the Content Wrangler. Believe me, I feel like a content wrangler these days! I'm eager to explore this community and find out more, especially about content management. Meanwhile I'll look for an acceptable photo to post. See you soon I hope.

Ok, thanks so much. My company actually has a large part of our workforce located in Pune, with a couple of writers there. I'll let them know about your list too, in case they don't alreay know. Many of my Indian collegues have visited our NC office, and I hope to visit there one day as well...and Korea as well!

Hi Julie,
Greetings from Seoul!

Indeed, Scott did a great job setting up this community. It's good to put faces to names. BTW, I moderate a technical writing listserv by the name of Technical Writers India or TWI on Yahoo! Groups. If you are interested to join, refer to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/technical_writers_india/

Welcome to The Content Wrangler Community! I'm glad to see you joined us and hope you find this community a great place to locate and share information among peers. As the network grows, so too will the services offered. So, keep an eye out for new ways to interact with each other. And, if you need help, just ask. We'll do our best to assist.

P.S. Please consider adding a photograph of yourself (or an icon people can use to recognize you). Research shows social network participation increases between individuals who have photos in their profiles.
