Hey Janice....

I went to the ridgeview site. It looks great!

I'm always learning too! I am a programmer steeped in clinical research....but now learning to build websites. Maybe I will look into Wordpress too!

Many thanks Ev!

Will try that angle next. I am even privvy to the fact that a couple sites have recently lost a few writers and a few programmers from their regular staff, so I know that they are a little short in these funcional roles. I really did not think that Kelly Services had this much of a "foot" in the pharmaceutical contract hiring of professionals. But I will definitely note your comments and look into this.

Thanks again for your advise! I appreciate your time and help!

Susan - Wyeth sites have a high degree of autonomy, but they all use Kelly Services as an umbrella contractor for temp placements. If you get get something a Kelly office near the site you are looking at they may be able to hit the right HR person.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the thoughts on telecommuting Susan... Some of those points definitely ring bells! I guess your point about having to go beyond colleagues for social life is one of the reasons for this network - hopefully we can all connect with some people in the same field who are geographically nearby.
Also, your "laptop + 2nd monitor on corner desk" setup eerily mimics how my desk is set up right now and caused a moment of double-take ;)

Susan,

Regarding AMWA, I guess it's possible you've seen me, but only if it was in the San Francisco Bay Area. That's where I usually attend regional meetings, but I don't normally attend the national meetings. Have you ever attended any meetings in my neck of the woods?

Regards,

Oh, your "dependents" sound wonderful. If only I could have my little ranchette! At least the stables are nearby. :-)

Susan, thanks for adding your photo. And, who knew you were a multi-tasker (two computers on your desk). You are a content professional, indeed!

I'm working on finding some medical writing resources for folks who work in pharma, medical device, and health and hospital corporations.
