To all:

I just joined LearningTown, a very interesting Ning eLearning-related network hosted by Elliott Masie.

Take a look around, and sign up if interested. Ning will automatically populate some of your existing information from here (and other Ning sites) onto LearningTown - this includes common friends, and some profile information.

Please contact me if you have questions.

Thanks - Ted

Hi, Ted: I'm just as puzzled about Open ID. Maybe your WordPress.com user documentation might have a section on it?

Good luck with the job search. I know you'll find something soon.

***** Announcing the Courseware Development Twine *****

Twine is a brand new Semantic Network that allows the user to post items, links, etc. in several groups (Twines) at once. I really like the look and feel of this network, which is expanding rapidly.

Note that Twine is in beta testing - if not already in Twine, if you wish to join the beta (and in turn, the CwDev Twine), you'll need to either register from the Home Page (there is a wait-list), or contact me (I have a limited number of invites).

Thanks - Ted

Hi, Ted: I just added your blog to my Blogroll, and I just tried to leave a comment. But, the OpenID choices don't include my WordPress.org blog ... only the WordPress.com blog URLs.

Can you change that under your Comments permissions or properties?

Thanks to all of you who have connected to me!

Also, I just posted a blog entry regarding getting and keeping the attention of the learner - all comments are welcome.

Last but not least, I encourage all interested people to join one or more of the Courseware Development groups (the links are above).

Thanks - Ted

Ted, were you successful with favicon? ~Jenise

Hello, Ted, welcome!

For the icon, "Google" this keyword: favicon.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Favicon

http://www.favicon.cc/

The favicon icons have been around for 10 years or more, and the download and install are very easy to follow. The software developer has a tutorial that makes it a snap to embed your own custom icon.

As for the sections, um, I don't know how that happened. LOL I think ning/TCWC Web site did that for me. I have yet to have time to customize my page. Maybe this weekend...!

Hi Ted. A couple of members in my group at work develop WBT. I haven't been very involved with it yet, but I'm interested in learning. Online help for sw is my main thing right now.
